Doxazo Camp is a one-week day camp for elementary and middle school age students designed for students to grow personally and spiritually through fun activities, worship, speakers, and small groups. At Doxazo Camp, students can build healthy relationships with both peers and older men and women through activities and small groups; participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities; and listen to speakers about the theme of camp at a level that is age-appropriate to the group. We currently divide Doxazo Camp into boys and girls as well as elementary (incoming first graders through fourth graders) and middle school (incoming fifth graders through eighth graders). Our elementary week is July 9th -12th and our middle school weeks are July 16th – 19th and July 23rd – 26th. It costs $80 to attend Doxazo Camp and registration closes on July 1st. If finances are a barrier for you, please click here to apply for a scholarship.
Students who are entering their freshman year of high school and older are welcome to apply to be counselors during one or more weeks of Doxazo Camp. As a counselor at Doxazo Camp, you can be expected to engage with the campers in a healthy, age-appropriate way, lead a small group, and participate in activities after Camp designed to help you recharge and grow personally. Counselor positions are open to students entering their sophomore year of high school or older. Students who are entering their freshman year of high school would serve as counselors in training (CITs) and would be expected to help set-up/tear-down camp, preparing and serving lunch, and assisting in running activities under the direction of our CIT Coordinator. They would also be allowed to participate in the evening activities. It costs $50 to attend one week of Doxazo Camp and applications close June 20th.
